Dr. Megan Corazza

Now in my 18th year as a school counselor and sixth year at Sage Creek High School, I am still amazed at the fulfillment I have in my work supporting students and families. It is a privilege to be a part of your student's journey and pursuit of their goals for their future.

I have been fortunate to have worked in multiple school communities in Virginia, San Diego Unified, internationally, Bay Area (Atherton), and Carlsbad. Moreover, I have degrees in Psychology, School Counseling, and an Education Doctorate.

My dissertation (and defense) depicted my qualitative research investigating high school seniors' experience coping with stress and transitioning to life after high school. What I found in the rich stories the students shared is the importance of relationships and support for young people during the pivotal time of adolescence. I, therefore, strive to connect with students in meaningful ways and as needed for them.

Here's to another fabulous school year, and please reach out should students or families have any questions and or need support.

With much respect,

Dr. Megan Corazza
