Claire Orosco

Hi, my name is Claire Orosco and I will be teaching Principles of Biomedical Sciences and Medical Interventions this year! I am from the Bay Area but I have been in Southern California for the past seven years. I went to UC Irvine for undergrad and received a B.S in biological sciences and then continued on to UC Berkeley for a M.A in molecular and cell biology. After grad school I moved to Los Angeles and started working in an academic research laboratory at UCLA. A couple of years later I made the move to San Diego for another biotech opportunity.

I've been in San Diego for the past five years and love it here! I enjoy hiking, mountain biking, hanging out in Balboa Park and playing soccer.  In 2017 I decided to go back to school for my teaching credential. I have really enjoyed my transition to education and I am so excited to be at Sage Creek!
