Jessica Hacker
My name is Jessica Hacker, and I am so excited to continue being part of the Sage Creek family this year as a member of the Student Support Services Team. I will be serving as Department Chair and case manager to our Senior students. I look forward to helping our students continue their work toward graduation and prepare for life beyond high school. I will also be teaching Directed Studies.
I began teaching in 1995 as an Early Childhood Instructor and Director in Salt Lake City, Utah. I later received an Urban Teacher Certification for general education classroom instruction and taught many years in Burbank Unified School District. After taking time off for family care leave, I returned to the classroom teaching Transitional Kindergarten while earning a Masters in Science for Special Education.
On a personal note, I am the daughter of retired Air Force officer and elementary teacher. I am married and have three amazing kids--two sons and a daughter. Outside of school, I stay busy with youth sports, church, and Scouts. I also enjoy running (I've completed 3 full marathons!), Jazzercise, reading, and spending time with friends.
I can't wait for the exciting year awaiting us at Sage Creek!
