Welcome Bobcats to the 2019-20 School year! It has been an amazing few years since our wonderful school has opened its doors. I am proud of the team we have, the culture we have established, the community that has developed, and most of all the students who have made us what we are. I am excited to see what comes next. I have a true love and passion for mathematics and I hope to convey that energy and appreciation for content to all students. I believe firmly that all students can advance their thinking and reasoning skills through the medium of mathematics with the right blend of opportunity, experience, and perseverance. My hope is to engage our students and see these skills blossom.

I am originally from upstate New York where I attended Syracuse University and earned a Masters degree at the University at Albany. I am now a happy Southern Californian, residing in Carlsbad with my wife Cari, my son RJ, my daughter Sadie, and my dog Lucie.
