Andrea Williams
Welcome to the 2018- 2019 school year. My name is Andrea Williams and I am very proud to be the Department Chair for Sage Creek Student Support Services. This is my sixth year as a Bobcat and I am looking forward to continuing to support students as they begin, continue and finish their journey through high school. This year I will be teaching 9th grade Directed Studies courses and serving as co-case manager to our freshman class of 2022. I look forward to helping my students navigate their first year of high school and becoming a part of our bobcat community. I look forward to working with the class of 2022 as they start to look at life beyond high school.
I began my journey in education 19 years ago. I have had many roles in education over the years including a general education classroom teacher, an Intervention Teacher in the areas on math and reading, a Behavior Interventionist both in the public and private setting, and my current role as an Education Specialist at both the high school and elementary levels.
On a personal note I was born and raised in San Diego. I am married and have two beautiful, active daughters who also attend Carlsbad schools. When I am not cheering on my girls at a swim competition or a volleyball game I enjoy exercising, reading, walking and running at the beach, and traveling.
I am looking forward to another amazing year here at Sage Creek!
