If you would like to earn extra credit you may complete a research paper, reflect on a museum or gallery visit, or complete a project of your choice. Each of these opportunities can earn up to 5 points. You can earn no more than 10 points (which would be 2 extra credit assignments). Here are your options:

Write a research paper about your favorite artist

250+ words, typed, may be emailed or printed

Include specific information such as the name of the artist, residence, time period, style/movement of art, materials used, what types of artwork was created, the impact of the art on society, how you felt about the work, what you learned, etc.

Visit a museum or gallery and write about your experience

250+ words, typed, may be emailed or printed

Include specific information such as the name of the galley and artists, describe the artwork on display, how you felt about the work, what you learned, etc.

Complete an art project on your own time.

This should take at least 3 solid hours

The work must show improved skill and craftsmanship

ALL EXTRA CREDIT ASSIGNMENTS MUST BE SUBMITTED NO LATER THAN FRIDAY JUNE 9TH AT 3:00PM.
