Student Parking Permits

TRI 1 Senior Preferred Parking

There are 49 spaces in Parking Lot 1 that are designated for 12th grade students opting to purchase a Senior Parking Permit.

Senior Parking Permits are now available at reduced price of $30 per Trimester.

Students who purchased a Senior Parking Permit at the original price of $50, will be mailed a $20 refund.

Seniors interested in purchasing a Trimester 1 Preferred Parking Permit should complete a Student Parking Permit Car Registration form, and submit the required paperwork to Mrs. Jenni Watson in the Front Office. Permits will be issued on a first come, first served basis. Copies of the form are available from Mrs. Watson.

Parking Permits

Seniors who have purchased a parking permit via the lottery system will be allowed to park in one of the 49 designated spaces. Preferred parking permits are valid for ONE trimester only, at a cost of $30 per trimester. Students are required to apply through the lottery system at the start of each trimester.

Students must present the following in order to obtain a Senior Parking Permit:

  • A valid DMV California vehicle registration in the student or parent/guardian’s name.
  • Valid California driver’s license.
  • Completed parking registration forms (available in the Administration Office.
  • Replacement permits are $5.

Permits are not transferable and can only be used on the car and by the student to whom it is issued. It is the responsibility of the student to properly display the permit by hanging it on the rearview mirror.

Senior Parking spaces are filled on a first come first served basis. Students who have a permit should know it does not guarantee a specific parking space. It simply means if a space in the designated student lot is available, you have the right to park there.

Optional Paid/Reserved Parking for Seniors

There are 49 spaces in Parking Lot 1 that will be designated for 12th grade students opting to purchase a Senior Parking Permit.  This designated parking permit ensures parking in Lot 1, but does not designate a specific parking space in Lot 1, spaces are filled on a first come first served basis.

Cost: Parking Permits cost $30 for a designated trimester: Fall, Winter, and Spring.

Lottery: A lottery will be administered if there are more than 49 students interested in purchasing a Senior Parking Permit for Lot 1.

*All funds raised from the reserved parking sales for seniors will go to ASB to use on student activities.

Driving a Different Vehicle

If students drive a vehicle not registered with the office, you must sign in at the Administration Office when you arrive on campus. You may only sign in for five days – if you need to park a different car on campus longer than that, you must complete the regular paperwork for a second parking permit.
