Welcome Bobcats to the 2016-17 School year! It's an exciting year at SCHS as we fill out our school and send off our first graduates. The staff has a great energy and excitement for this year, and I am proud to be part of it. I have a true love and passion for mathematics and I hope to convey that energy and appreciation for content to all students. I believe firmly that all students can advance their thinking and reasoning skills through the medium of mathematics with the right blend of opportunity, experience, and perseverance. My hope is to engage our students and see these skills blossom.
I am originally from upstate New York where I attended Syracuse University and earned a Masters degree at the University at Albany. I am now a happy Southern Californian, residing in Carlsbad with my wife Cari, my son RJ, and my dog Lucie.
