Hello, and thank you for visiting my page.

I would like to take this opportunity to tell you briefly how I arrived here at Sage Creek High School.

I grew up  in the Los Angeles area and graduated from Palmdale High School in 1985.  I attended Antelope Valley College prior to transferring to San Diego State University where I studied History.  I received my teaching credential from the University of San Diego, and began my teaching career at Dana Middle School in Hawthorne, California where I taught 7th and 8th grade History and English, and AVID Coordinator.

While teaching at Dana I also earned my Master's Degree in Educational Administration from UCLA, and soon thereafter was hired as an Assistant Principal at Lynwood Middle School where I served 2 years.  In 2004 I was finally able to come back to San Diego County and had the pleasure of working at Carlsbad High School for 10 years as Assistant Principal.

The 2016-17 school year marks my third year as Assistant Principal at Sage Creek High School.  I am looking forward to the work we will do to provide our students with an outstanding educational experience.

Thank you, have a great year!

Bill Lord
